CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying some suspects who may have been involved in a recent shots fired incident.

According to police, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. Sept 9 in the area of Second Street SE and Monticello Avenue.

Officers found shell casings in the area and several parked vehicles that had been damaged.

Video footage from the area shows three people who police believe may be involved in this incident.
