CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Several companies will be participating in a hiring event in downtown Charlottesville next week.

CitySpace will host the event on Aug. 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

People interested in attending are asked to register in advance. They should wear professional attire and bring copies of their resume.

Some of the businesses that will have representatives on hand include Tiger Fuel, Goodwin William Staffing, Cardinal Home Center, Aramark at the University of Virginia, and Our Lady of Peace.

The event is free to attend.
