
ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in an identity theft investigation.
According to the sheriff’s office, it received a report from a resident on Sunday that the resident’s driver’s license had been stolen.

That license was then used to cash fraudulent checks at multiple financial institutions in the area.
The sheriff’s office reached out to area financial institutions and was able to get images of a woman who reportedly used the driver’s license to cash the checks.
Now investigators are working to identify the woman.
